Our first date was definitely not what we planned - but somehow it became perfect in its own way. We had made plans to see each other, but he had to work that day. Luckily, they closed earlier than expected, but I had my own little plan. I wanted to surprise him at work… I just never told him.

When I finally arrived, the shop was already closed and he wasn’t answering his messages. I had no idea where he was, and in that moment, I was both confused and very upset. So, like any dramatic girl, I went to McDonald’s to cool off.

He, on the other hand, went on a mission - driving to every McDonald's in Mossel Bay trying to find me, because I was so mad I didn’t even tell him which one I was at. By pure luck (or fate), the very first McDonald's he checked… there I was.
